PIANT is currently located at the Industrieweg in Waalwijk, but the building is too small. “We now have 3500 sqm. We are working 24 hours per day, but it is not enough. We also need more space for storage.”

WAALWIJK – Bol.com in Waalwijk is getting a new neighbour. Piant, a company in, among other things, punching technology from Waalwijk has, to the left side of the distribution centre, purchased 13.000 sqm of land on business area Haven Acht. Director Robert Brekelmans expects to start construction next spring.
Piant is still located at the Industrieweg in Waalwijk, but that building is too small. We now have 3500 square metres. We work 24 hours a day, but that is not enough. We also need more space for storage.”
Family business
Piant is a family business that was started in 1963 by father Piet Brekelmans. At that time, the Brabant leather and shoe industry were celebrating its heyday. The modelling and punching of designs for this industry was the company’s main task at the time, along with punching plastic and paper. Meanwhile, Piant, which employs 45 people, has become more broadly based. Brekelmans: “We offer punching, laser and cutting work for the industrial sector, the graphics sector and the leather sector in any form or material.”
